Three-Phase Power Monitoring System

Project Name : Three phase Power Monitoring Device

We designed this three phase power monitoring device with an integrated  IoT platform  to provide the factory owners with reliable and realtime data about their power consumption. The device can measure Currents, Voltages, Power factors, THD( Total Darmonic Distortions) and etc. When the device is connected to a three phase load, it takes 240-AC as input from a single phase and start flooding data into the IoT Platform.

Our design contains a four layer PCB to cooperate with  ac currents and high voltages. We adhered various types of precautions to maintain the signal and power integrity. we have  used zero ohm resistors, test points and several power input strategies isolating differenct components like programmer's computer . Below I have posted the layered view of the PCB. Addtionally, for the programming purposes  of the first prototype, we used a USB connection with impeadance matched to 90 ohms.(Differential Pair ). Design documentation could be found in my GitHub which includes all the technical details such as schematics, layout and etc.
